Company NVIDIA introduced a beta release of a restricted driver NVIDIA 364.12 for operating systems GNU / Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris .
basically installing proprietary drivers needed primarily for gamers, ie for gamers.
Added EGL-expansion needed to work with Wayland and Mir.
as OpenGL implementation enabled by default open library GLVND.
implemented initial support DRM KMS (Direct Rendering Manager kernel Modesetting).
Added module nvidia-drm.ko kernel that provides support PRIME and KMS.
Added bibilioteka libnvidia-egl-wayland.so, allowing Wayland-kopozitoram supporting EGLDevice, EGLOutput, and EGLstreams, EGL-use buffers in conjunction with Wayland-applications.
Added support API Vulkan 1.0 .
Redesigned required to support PRIME driver registration algorithm DRM-subsystem of the Linux kernel. As a result, support for PRIME is now required kernel version is not lower than 3.13 (earlier version required not less than 3.10).
Accuracy of the representation of color cards X on GeForce GPU has been increased from 8 to 11 bits.
Added new property RandR CscMatrix defining 3×4 matrix for converting the color space. The matrix is applied after the color card X and before color correction table. This property is available for graphics cards from the GF119.
Improved interactivity applications that use hardware cursor, with the active G-SYNC.
Solved arises when using pixel buffers with EGL-device problem causing incorrect rendering.
