After installing the file manager Nemo (Linux Mint Cinnamon) in Ubuntu , the icon in the system menu bar Unity is displayed as Files or Home Folder
to change the map icon on the Nemo , file manager, an administrator must be open at the following address: / usr / share / applications , or execute a command in terminal to open the desired folder:

sudo nemo / usr / share / applications

this folder contains icons for all installed applications run on the system.
When the folder applications , find the icon called Files , right click on it, then click properties in line Name change Files on the Nemo .



order for changes to take effect, remove the symbol Files with the panel and drag the panel from the system menu icon is now with original name Nemo

There is one snag after setting Nemo in Ubuntu . In the context menu icon Nemo (right-click on the icon), one option is displayed in English – Open a New Window , which translated to English means – Open a new window :


To fix this, you need to open a text file nemo.desktop . Run the following command in the terminal:

sudo gedit text editor opens /usr/share/applications/nemo.desktop

Kogda with a file, on line Name change Open a new window to Open a new window :



Save the file, exit the editor and restart the Nemo :

nemo -q

After the first opening of the nemo , the parameter name should be changed from the context menu:
